Chandigarh Carnival-09

Chandigarh Administration organised Chandigarh Carnival-09 on 28th Nov at Leisure Valley, Sector-10. ITFT College, Chandigarh put up a Film City on this occassion. The film city displayed complete concept of film making and actual shooting process of film songs being enacted spontaneously by the students of Media and Entertainment Department of the Institute.

The Executive Director of the ITFT, Dr. Gulshan Sharma, who is also the vice president of Chandigarh Management Association, where I am the General Secretary, invited CMA members to visit the Film City.

I along with my guests from Ludhiana, Mr. Vinod Thaper, President Knitwear Club and Mr. Chanjeev Singh, Secretary-PR of the Club went to see the Film City. We were welcomed  by the team of the film city and students of the institute, specially, they re-enacted songs and dances for us.

The display was very impressive. Dr. Gulshan Sharma, with his leadership as Director of the ITFT College and Secretary General of Chandigarh Tourism Club and Punjab Parvasi Divas is indeed the live wire for enriching the Cultural  Life of Chandigarh. The city should be indebted to him for the same.
